The Florida Department of Education issued preliminary 2015-2016 school grades on July 8, 2016.  These grades reflect a new grading system developed and released earlier this year, and these school grades are the first set of results measuring learning gains for students on the new standards as measured by the Florida Standards Assessments (FSA).  In this baseline year, Osceola schools reflected the following levels of performance as measured by the new, more rigorous grading system.

I stand firmly behind the hard work of our students, teachers, and school leaders, and I will be engaging with my staff to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in all content areas as we finalize our 2016-2019 strategic plan."  --Superintendent Dr. Pace
