On July 12, the Osceola County School Board approved the following administrative appointments:
Sharon Hahn, Principal of Central Avenue Elementary
Throughout her career, Sharon Hahn has held the following positions: Teacher in New Castle Community School Corporation in Indiana (1972-1990); Principal at Benjamin S. Parker Elementary in Indiana (1990-2002); Principal and International Baccalaureate Coordinator at Columbian, Wallace, and Lafayette Park Elementary Schools in Indiana (2002-2015); and District International Baccalaureate PYP/Title I Coordinator for Kokomo-Center Consolidated School District (2015-present). She received her bachelor's degree and master's degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University.
Peter Hodges, Principal of Flora Ridge Elementary
Throughout his career, Peter Hodges has held the following positions: Teacher at St. Cloud High (1990-1991 and 2001-2003); Teacher at Poinciana High (1991-2001); Dean of Students at St. Cloud High (2003-2004); Assistant Principal at St. Cloud High (2004-2006); Assistant Principal at Harmony High (2006-2009); Principal at Professional and Technical High School (2009-2013); and Principal of Poinciana High (2013-2015). He received his bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Cortland and his master's degree in Educational Leadership from Stetson University.
Thomas Ott, Principal of Technical Education Center of Osceola (TECO)
Throughout his career, Thomas Ott has held the following positions with the Orange County Public School District: Administrative Dean at University High School (2009-2013); Assistant Principal of Instruction at Glenridge Middle School (January 2013 - July 2013); Assistant Principal at Jones High School (2013 - 2014); Assistant Director of Instruction at Orange Technical College (2014 - Present). He received his Orange County Public Schools Alternative Certification Program Professional Education Certification in June 2008 and his master's degree of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida.
Lisa L. Tindall, Assistant Principal of Ventura Elementary
Throughout her career, Lisa Tindall has held the following positions: Teacher at Michigan Avenue Elementary (January 2001 - May 2001); Teacher at St. Cloud Middle (2001 - 2004); Teacher at Florida Virtual School (2009 - 2010, 2013); Secondary Math Curriculum Specialist for Osceola School District (2010 - 2011); Teacher for Osceola Virtual Secondary School (2012 - 2013); Teacher and Testing Co-Coordinator at Harmony High School (2004 - 2009 & 2011- 2013); District-level Senior Administrator for secondary math, science, and STEM as a leader of 12 Secondary Math, Science and STEM Curriculum Coaches for Orange County Public Schools ( 2013 - Present). She received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and her master's degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.
