Osceola School District To Host College Colors Day To Spread The College Knowledge

This is the image for the news article titled Osceola School District To Host College Colors Day To Spread The College KnowledgeAs the Osceola School District continues to build a college-going culture for students, the Osceola County School Board invites all school district employees, parents, and community members to wear their college colors on Friday, September 2, 2016.  This show of support for higher education will spread the college knowledge to students in prekindergarten through twelfth grade, and will highlight the importance of being college-ready.  Individuals in their college garb on College Colors Day are invited to post a photo on social media using @osceolaschools.

"It is never to early to tell our students that we believe in them and that we see them as future college graduates," said School Board Chairman Clarence Thacker.
