International Baccalaureate Program Informational Meetings For Parents and Students

IB World Schools LogoFor the 2017-2018 school year, the Osceola School District will offer the International Baccalaureate Program at Gateway High School and Celebration High School. Students and parents of highly-motivated eighth grade students are encouraged to attend any one of the following informational meetings outlining the International Baccalaureate (IB) program requirements, the program features and advantages, the application and selection process, and the rigorous curriculum:
--November 17 at Horizon Middle School at 6:00 p.m. - located at 2020 Ham Brown Road, Kissimmee
--November 29 at St. Cloud Middle School at 6:00 p.m. - located at 1975 Michigan Avenue, St. Cloud
--December 6 at Parkway Middle School at 6:00 p.m. - located at 857 Florida Parkway, Kissimmee
--December 8 at Celebration K-8 at 6:00 p.m. - located at 510 Campus Street, Celebration

The International Baccalaureate Program is designed as an academically-challenging and balanced program of education that prepares students for success at the university level and beyond. The program, which has a strong international dimension, provides opportunities for individual and collaborative planning and research, and encourages students to become responsible members of the community.
