Any time a student transitions from one school to the next, it can be an exciting time for the child and parent alike. Usually, there are plenty of questions and fears of the unknown. In order to help students and parents become familiar with their new schools for next year, the Osceola School District will be hosting the following Ninth Grade Student Orientation Nights for current eighth grade students and their parents:
January 10, 2017 - at St. Cloud High School at 6:30 p.m.
January 24, 2017 - at Poinciana High School from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
January 25, 2017 - at Osceola High School from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
January 26, 2017 - at Liberty High School from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
January 31, 2017 - at Gateway High School from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
January 31, 2017 - at Harmony High School at 6:00 p.m.
January 31, 2017 - at The Osceola County School for the Arts at 6:00 p.m.
February 1, 2017 - at Celebration High School at 5:30 p.m.
Students going into ninth grade next year, along with their parents, are invited to attend to meet their new principals; to get an idea of what classes will be offered; to make their way around the campuses; to learn about curriculum, clubs, and extracurricular sports offerings; and more. These Orientation Nights will be a great opportunity for parents to get involved in the next step of their child’s education.
Parents with Orientation Night questions are encouraged to contact their individual school.
