Welcome, Eagles!
The Poinciana High School Counseling Department is where students and parents complete registration, meet with our school counselors, and receive academic advisement.
School counselors are assigned by the student's last name or specialty programs. You can see the school counselor assignments to the right. Please email your counselor using the "Email..." link below to get in touch with your counselor.
School counselors will have open office hours during both lunches in the auditorium. For assistance, please email your designated counselor.
If this is a mental health emergency, please call 911 or 211 to speak to a crisis counselor.

Registration Hours
Please be advised that student registration hours are from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Graduation Requirements:
- 24 Credits
- 2.0 GPA
- Level 3 or higher on 10th grade Reading FAST ELA
- Level 3 or higher on Alg 1 EOC
(or approved concordant score on SAT/ACT for Reading and Math, PSAT (Math only)
- Other Important Tests: Geometry EOC, Biology 1 EOC, US History EOC: 30% of overall grade
Transcript Requests
Current Students: Use the Xello App on Classlink to request transcripts. If you need assistance with the process you can see your school counselor or the College and Career Counselor.

The mission of the Poinciana High School Guidance Department is to support the academic, personal, social, and college/career development of all students through a comprehensive and student-centered counseling program. Professional School Counselors are:
📘 Certified/licensed educators
🎓 Hold a minimum of a master’s degree in School Counseling
🧭 Trained to support the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students
🔗 Deliver services through a comprehensive school counseling program
