Summer Update from PHS

Hello to all Poinciana High School Community Members!

We hope your summer break is off to a great start.  We are busy at PHS with summer school and upcoming bootcamps and testing (see attachment).  All of these activities are designed to help your student accomplish the ultimate goal of high school, earning that diploma and graduating so your student can have a great life with tons of opportunities.  Many of our athletic teams from football to basketball are conducting summer workouts in the gym and weightroom.  Construction will soon begin on our HVAC lab which serves as a Dual Enrollment program through OTECH.  For the next 3 days, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office is hosting a baseball camp through the Police Athletic League (see pictures below) at our PHS Varsity Baseball Stadium.

Students - Keep your brain active over summer by replacing some social media time with reading time. Engage in discussions and debates about current events with your friends and family.  Recharge this summer and be ready for ALL students to make learning gains in 26-27!
