Thank you for your interest in joining the Eagle Family! We are proud to be one of the most sought-after high schools in the School District of Osceola County, serving students through a wide variety of academic, career, athletic, fine arts, and extracurricular opportunities.

As we begin the school year, we anticipate a significant number of new student enrollments. To best serve every family, we encourage you to review the required enrollment documents before visiting our campus and to arrive as early in the day as possible. During our busiest enrollment periods, wait times may be longer than usual, and once we reach our daily registration capacity, we may need to stop accepting additional registrations for that day.

Please note: A student is not officially enrolled at Poinciana High School until the in-person registration process has been completed and all required enrollment documents have been reviewed and accepted by our registration staff.

  • Registration Required

    • Students coming from:
      • Private school
      • Out-of-county
      • Out-of-state
      • Any students who have a new address who are now zoned for Poinciana High School
      • Students who have been recently accepted through the SDOC Choice Application who are coming from a private school, charter school, out-of-county, or out-of-state.

    If you are not zoned for Poinciana High School but are still interested in enrolling, you can visit the SDOC Choice Website to learn more and complete an application. Please note that completing an application does not guarantee acceptance. All acceptances are dependent on space and availability. Please Note: CHOICE acceptances for the 2026-2027 school year are currently on hold until further notice.

  • Walk in Registration

    8:00 AM -1:30 PM

    Monday-Friday

    *Please note-We are currently in our busiest season of student registrations, and it is likely that we will need to cut off registrations before the 1:30 PM time due to capacity. Please try to be at the school earlier in the day if you are planning to enroll your child. 

  • Required Enrollment Documents

    Please review the information below before visiting Poinciana High School to complete your student's registration.

    Please Note: Student enrollment must be completed in person at Poinciana High School. A student is not officially enrolled until all required documents have been reviewed and accepted by our registration staff.

    Before You Begin

    • The enrolling parent or legal guardian must be present and provide a valid government-issued photo ID before the registration process can begin.
    • Please view the Registration Checklist/Form and gather all required documents below before visiting Poinciana to enroll your student.
    • Registration forms and additional enrollment resources are available below.

    Residency Documents

    Please bring the following documents to verify residency:

     Proof of Residence

    • Mortgage statement or signed lease agreement
    • Current utility bill

    If the proof of residence is NOT in the parent or guardian's name, you must also provide:

    • A completed Verification of Address Form
    • Proof of the parent/guardian's address, such as:
      • Driver License
      • Government benefits document
      • Vehicle registration

    Student Identification

    Please bring:

    • Birth Certificate
    • Date the student first entered a U.S. school

    If you are NOT the student's parent, you must also provide:

    • Court-ordered guardianship or
    • Educational Guardianship documentation signed by a judge

    Health Requirements

    Please provide:

    • Florida Certificate of Immunization (Form 680)
    • Physical Examination completed by a U.S. physician
    • The physical must be dated within 12 months of the student's first day of school.

    Academic Records

    To complete enrollment, please bring:

    • Proof of promotion (students entering 9th grade)
    • Official high school transcripts for all high school coursework completed

    Please Note: High school registration cannot be completed without official transcripts.

    If applicable, also provide:

    • Current Individualized Education Program (IEP)
    • Section 504 Plan
    • Discipline records (including records showing no disciplinary incidents)

     

  • Upon completing your student’s Registration:

    • Records are reviewed by the registrar
    • Students are scheduled by a school counselor
    • Class schedules will be available in the Focus Portal
    • IEPs will be processed and our RCS will contact you in a reasonable timeline to schedule a Transfer-Placement Meeting
