Every Day is Day One!

Need to Know at PHS

PHS Dress Code

The late bell rings at 7:15 AM each morning.

What happens if you are Tardy to School?

  • You must check in at the front office OR see a leadership team member before you enter your 1st class.
  • Students are allowed FIVE tardies to school before they receive a consequence.
  • On the 6th Tardy to School, a Tardy Agreement will be sent home to parents.
  • On the 7th Tardy to School, a referral will be made to the Behavior/Attendance Dean.
  • On the 8th Tardy to School, an insubordination referral will be issued along with a disciplinary consequence.

Tardies to class occur when you are not in your next period’s class by the late bell. When you hear the music start playing, that is your signal that you have 90 seconds to get to class.

What happens if you are Tardy to Class?

  • Student’s who arrive late to class must present a tardy pass from a Leadership team member before entering class.
  • Students leaving from the gym and Building 14 will be released (2) minutes early.
  • Students will NOT receive any additional time to arrive to any location on campus.
  • Tardies to class will be tracked in our new system, Student Conductor, and consequences will be given for excessive tardies.
  • Transition time is NOT the time to talk to friends, be on your cell phone or take your time getting somewhere. It is imperative that you walk with a purpose from one class to the other.

  • Providing tardy passes
  • Helping staff communicate with students and families
  • Assigning consequences to students based on the PHS Discipline Matrix

How Will You Use It?

✅ Request hall passes when needed
✅ Receive tardy passes if you arrive late to class
✅ Stay informed about attendance and behavior records

Be on time, follow school expectations, and Rep the P!
