CTE Career Pathways  

Poinciana High School offers five Career Academies. Students can immerse themselves in real world lab settings in pathways such as culinary arts to construction technology to the world of finance.

PHS boasts CTE facilities that include a five bay automotive lab, a commercial grade culinary lab, and a real-world banking brach of Central Florida Educators Credit Union.

CTE is a proud AVID Partner at Poinciana High School. The AVID model is incorporated through WICOR strategies to bridge gaps in Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading. Computer Science (Coding and Programming Languages) Application and Web Design Technological Research, Technical Writing Real-World Training and Development to prepare for education and jobs in Computer Science and Technology industries, Information Technology (IT) (Microsoft Windows Certification) Technological Research and Writing Real-World Training and Development to prepare for education and jobs in private cloud computing and infrastructure

Our CTE students will be college and career ready, with the goal of earning industry certifications before they ever leave high school - #NoExcuses.

We are now the host of the Osceola Business Academy at Poinciana High school!  The Osceola Business Academy will bridge the gap between theory and practice for future entrepreneurs and
innovators. Students will learn the basics of design thinking, mold ideas into clear business plans, and compete in a final pitch fest and showcase. With an emphasis on personal development and academic rigor, our program
Incorporates practical, hands-on experience to help build 21st Century workforce skills and unleash the entrepreneurial spirit of innovation!
